Default hard mode deaths & buffs

I don't think it's fair that if a whole party reaches 60dp in hard mode they're teleported back to town. That doesn't happen in normal mode and sometimes it can be just as hard (like the Fire and Pain quest in the burning forest). So I think this should be removed.

Also, if you get a timed buff (like time attack, hunt rampage, etc.) I don't think it should go away if you die. It should only go away if the time runs out. It's not your fault that you die, especially in hard mode. So...yeah.

It's called Hard Mode for a reason, it's supposed to be hard. Don't like how hard it is? Play in Normal Mode.

You keep posting threads saying the game is too hard, and needs to be easier. Instead, try to play better, and it won't be as hard. GW was kind of designed that way, you know. Instead of increasing the power of the character you play the more you play the game, you are supposed to become better at playing your character.

So, yeah.

Deaths in any mode are caused by not being prepared, making a dumb mistake, or not being good enough. I fail to see how it is not the players own fault for dying.

If you keep getting 60dp, maybe you should stop playing hard mode.

I also think that PvP is too hard, so I should get a handicap just for me! And maybe to compensate for HM being easier we should make NM easier by making everthing level 10. AND we should have a place where u can go to get a bunch of builds that work in the areas that I want (oh... wait), and maybe we could get skill buffs and nerfs every month so that the monsters don't get too hard (orly?) and maybe we could have this armor that has more than 15 AL cus we just die to fast with the stuff we have now! Seriously, GW needs a massive overhaul.

Its meant to be hard. If you couldnt fail it you could just run at the enemies over and over slowly killing them one by one.

This way it requires you to use a little bit of skill and take a build fit for the area.

Not a chance. Playing these areas in normal mode should have been enough experience to know what to expect. I mean, they just do more damage and have more health.

My response is numbered for your benefit.

1. This is where you tempt me to troll.
2. This is where I say "Yeah, whatever" (Sarcasm)
3. This is where you lose any and all credibility.

If you keep dying in hard mode, did you ever assume that you may not be skilled enough to play it?

The problem is not the game. It's your skill level, which is obviously very low, judging by this suggestion and many other of yours I've seen in this section of the forums.

Others succeed in hard mode because they are skilled enough to play it. You are not. There is nothing that needs to be fixed by Arenanet here.

/Signed for you to stop suggesting things. (How many threads do you have in here? 10 now? Make +1's some other way.)

You have got to be the first person i have ever seen actually complaining about that its too HARD in HARD MODE. Hard Mode was released because the game veterans were sick of it being too easy in normal mode, and wanted a challenge, without being forced to do cookie cutter builds in elite missions (which definately arent a challenge) or do pvp.

Hard mode was that response, and gave people a way to play the game HARDER without it being insane for newer players. Now its called HARD mode because its HARD, not because its for noobs with no skillz who want to afk while henchies rip everything apart.

If u hate the 60dp kickout option, there are ways to get around it:

1. Death Pact Signet. You dont get DP when u get killed due to DPS, therefore u will never have an entire party on 60 DP.
2. Consumables (Candy Canes, Powerstones etc) all remove DP so u dont get kicked.
3. Not Sucking. If u dont suck, and u dont die u dont get DP & u dont get kicked out.

Any one of these 3 options will mean that HM isnt so insane and stupid.

About the losing hunt bonus's on death, they are meant to require SKILL to complete. If u die, u dont have whats needed for the reward, therefore u lose the bonus. Now i would luv to have free r10 delver, norn, asuran, & ebon vanguard, but i dont ask for it because its meant to be something to strive for, not get given.

Sorry if this seems like a rant, but plz stop QQing coz u cant win the game (which isnt that hard already).

hard mode increase your drop rate, you get more golds/purple items and a higher chance to get a green.

I lol'ed when i read your message
Oh and tenderwolf, are you doing hard mode with h/h , try with real persons, it might go better. And yes it's your fault if you die until the healer is afk but it's still your fault if you know it and aggro

Yeah, twas unclear, not loling at urs now. Although its still not THAT hard to do HM H&H. Hes talking about vanquishing here (im assuming due to the 60dp kickout), and i have done many vanquishes H&H quite easily. Just need to know how to pull, and what heroes/henchies do well.
